You’ll find us beneath the Tyne Bridge on Gateshead Quayside, bringing people together for catch-ups, laid-back afternoons and another round with a view.
We’re now serving Sunday dinners from Big Norm’s, giving you one more reason to settle in and make an afternoon of it. Gather your favourite people, pull up a chair and let us take care of Sunday.

Big Norm’s On The Southside
We’ve teamed up with Big Norm’s BBQ to bring you weekends full of low and slow flavour, with Sunday lunches joining the line-up from 25th October.
Their BBQ sharing trays put a smoky spin on the Sunday roast, with beef featherblade, apple-glazed pork belly and maple & garlic turkey. Add beef fat roasties, seasonal veg, smoked cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puds and smoked marrow gravy, and you’ve got a Sunday worth gathering for.
Get your favourite people together and settle in for a feast by the Tyne.

New Year’s Eve By The River
By The River NYE is back with a bang! See in 2027 with DJs, a heated party marquee, house and disco in The Workshop, singalongs in HWKRLAND and food from Big Norm’s BBQ, Bag Head and Oshuck.
Join us for family fun and the 6pm fireworks, before our adults-only party from 8pm, complete with fireworks at midnight.
